Engagements
How it works
Four steps, no mystery, and an exit at every one of them.
-
1 A first conversation
Free, about thirty minutes, by video or phone. You describe what you are trying to finish. I tell you whether coaching is the right tool — and if it is not, what is. There is no pitch on this call.
-
2 A named scope
Before anything starts you get the shape of the engagement in writing: how many sessions, how many hours of your own prep work between them, what you will have built by the end, and what it costs.
Cost is quoted on that first call and confirmed in writing before anything starts. No engagement begins with an open-ended bill.
-
3 Work, then session, then work
Every session has assignments before it. You come with something built — a budget, a contact list, a presentation — and we spend the session on what is not yet working rather than on definitions. This is the whole method: coaching sits on top of your work, it does not replace it.
-
4 You finish
An engagement ends when the thing you came for exists. For partner development that is a funded budget and the habits to keep it funded — not a feeling of readiness.
Format. Sessions run by video, which means the time zone gap is the only real constraint — I am based in Thailand. Scheduling is worked out on the first call.
